I don't want to pay alot for wedding favors, can
you make some suggestion for someone on a limited budget?
Homemade cookies wrapped in
tulle.
Bunches of lollipops.
A single candle placed at each
setting.
Sparklers tied with
ribbon.
Swatches of
tulle filled with
mints.
A single delicious chocolate.
Bright candy in a
Shimmer Favor Bags.
A favorite poem or customized letter printed on your home computer
and rolled into a
ribbon-tied scroll.
Three or four individual tea bags of assorted flavors, tied with
Sheer Favor Ribbon.
Lavender wrapped in tulle.
I'm looking for something a little more extravagant... what would
you suggest?
Hand
out Small bottles of
apple cider
with personalized labels., a
donation to a favorite charity in the name of each guest,
Crystal votives with scented candles, wedding cake in a crisp white
view box,
custom-burned CDs, miniature
picture frames, potpourri or lavender
wrapped in a linen handkerchief, gourmet
chocolates, bud vases with a single signature flower,
Christmas ornaments in your wedding colors, personalized with your
names and wedding dates.
I need some favor box ideas, do you have any
suggestions?
Try covering the box or bag with wedding-themed seals,
tie picot-edged
ribbon around the box or bag and finish the look with
miniature bells, wrap boxes with
cellophane, and then tie them with
ribbon. Use hot glue to attach
paper leaves or flowers to the package. Punch three to five
holes through the top of a bag and thread
ribbon through to hold the bag closed,
seal a white box with
a pressed pansy, line a box with
colored tissue paper. Instead of a box top, bring the edges of the
tissue paper together and secure it with a
charm, glue a small wrapped chocolate to a box top or top
edge of a bag, glue
tiny paper flowers to the top of each
box, place your favors in miniature Chinese takeout boxes, cover a box top with
a square of colored fabric. Tie elastic cord around the edge of the
box top to secure the fabric.
How should I display my favors?
I would try setting a favor at each
place setting, arrange baskets of favors at the entrance to the reception hall.
Place a card next to each basket with the words "Please Take One"
written in calligraphy.
Arrange favors in a circle around the centerpieces of each table.
Arrange favors in three circular layers, one on top of the next,
replicating a wedding cake.
Fill shallow wooden crates with favor bags. Line up the crates on
special favor tables.
Visit every guest table with your fiancι and welcome each person
with a favor.
Line beautiful woven baskets with straw or bundles of cloth and rest
your favors on top.
Attach raffia, cord or ribbon to each favor and loop your favors
around chair backs.
Recruit young relatives to pass out favors from decorated baskets as
your guests leave.
Set up a large table near the entrance to the reception hall.
Arrange your favors in swirling patterns across the tabletop.
