In a way, it's the perfect favor for a winter wedding--a
personalized snow globe.
Snow globes are usually pretty passive items--a winter scene, a
Santa
at the beach--admits Tim Raine, sales manager for manufacturer and
distributor One 2 Free Inc. of El Monte. But recently someone from
the
home office got married and everything changed. "They made [snow
globes] up as wedding favors," Raine says. "It's a very new idea for
an old
theme."
The globes are sold at Linens 'N Things, Urban Outfitters and
Anthropologie for $6 to $8.
"It takes about two minutes to do," he says. A panel on the bottom
of the globe is removed, and the wedding couple's picture or message
is inserted.]
